Experience Vigan’s Spanish- colonial period. Walk through its cobblestoned streets and ride on a kalesa while enjoying the view of finest, preserved monumental buildings which were built way back 18th century during Spanish colonization.

According to Vigan.ph, Since December 1999, Vigan City’s Historical Center also known as Heritage Village has been part of UNESCO World Heritage List. This only proves that Vigan is not just an alluring place. It is a Philippine treasure and pride. Indeed, it is a living History.

Vigan City is located in the Northern part of the Philippines; an 8 to 9 hour drive from the Metro. But if you only want to relax and enjoy the ride, you can take several buses like Partas, Dominion Bus, Aniceto Bus and Viron Transit which travels directly to Vigan. You can also ride buses that has daily trips to Laoag passing by Vigan, like Florida Bus Line, Baliwag, Farinas, RCJ Bus Lines, Maria de Leon Bus Lines and F. Franco Transit.

For a shorter travel time, have it by air. Philippine Airlines and Cebu Pacific have daily flights from Manila to Laoag. Hooray! You’ll reach Vigan in 3 hours.
